Safety Solutions On-Site in partnership with INX International Ink Company
has developed an OSHA-sanctioned safety course for companies in the
graphic communications industry!
Printers face numerous safety and health challenges: Complicated
machinery, pages of regulations, contradictory guidance, insurance
companies, OSHA inspectors, the fire department and the difficulties of
motivating their employees to follow established safety rules. To assist
printing companies in satisfying their legal requirements, reduce the
possibility of workplace injuries and have a direct impact on their bottom
line, the “PrintGuard“ course was developed.
The “PrintGuard“ class features over 10 hours of classroom instruction. All
course topics have been specifically chosen for their relevance to printers.
The course is custom designed for printers and has been attended by more
than 1,000 people in the industry. This professional class utilizes
customized presentations, dozens of digital photographs taken throughout
the country at actual printing establishments, actual OSHA inspection
reports from printers, and, new for 2005, a “breakout session where you can
further customize the training to meet your needs.
OSHA 10-Hour Course for the General Industry
All persons attending the “PrintGuard“ Train-the-Trainer course will receive
handouts and resource materials. In addition, they will receive a certificate
and completion card from OSHA, verifying they have satisfied the
requirements of the “10-Hour Course for General Industry!”
The PrintGuard course is the first and most comprehensive printing-specific
OSHA 10-hour course offered in the United States!
